Radius Care

We were contracted to build an extension to an existing care home and to construct a series of new villas and a community centre as part of the new Elloughton Village.

Construction work was completed on a worksite that was adjacent to an existing, occupied aged care facility. Keeping residents, staff, and visitors safe and protected from disturbance was a priority

The comfort and interests of surrounding residents and staff were factored into our construction and programming.

The 30-bed care home provides, hospital, respite, palliative and rest home care services to the community. Additionally, 54 villas and a new community centre were built over on 2.1 hectares of private gardens and parkland.

A feature of the site is a historic homestead, built in1893. The greenfields site was next to the existing village, making safety a paramount concern. Our project team carefully segregated the work site from the village by using 1.8m-high fencing with extensive signage.

The contract works were purpose-built and required particular attention to not only the existing building but also the surrounding residents and staff.
