Puriri Park

The contract works for this project consists of the construction of 37 new dwellings and a community room. The project is Kāinga Ora’s response to the much-felt need for social housing in the Whangārei region which has been steadily growing for the past few years. The project provides business opportunities for local suppliers and tradespeople.

Built on a 1.6 hectare site, the housing is a mix of one-bedroom dwellings in terraced buildings and duplexes; two-bedroom homes in duplexes; three-bedroom homes either in duplexes or built as a standalone; four-bedroom homes in duplexes; and five-bedroom standalone homes.

This project started in December 2020 and is expected to be complete in March 2022.
